Ryan G. Martinez

Mr. Martinez is a long-time airport industry veteran, having served as Deputy Director of Finance & Administration for the San Antonio International Airport, and previously, as the Director of Finance for Kansas City International Airport for five years. During his many years in airport management, Ryan managed annual budgets exceeding $50 million, together with capital budgets of a combined $875 million, and issued new bonds for over $700 million. He negotiated long-term contracts with 54 terminal concessionaires, airlines, cargo companies and rental car firms at San Antonio International, and managed a staff of 52.

Over the course of 10 years in executive airport management, Ryan has formed many enduring relationships with leading airport executives nationwide and is especially qualified to lead the Company's airport venue expansion to achieve its ultimate PowerPort placement goals.

Ryan earned his BS Degree in Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University in Marysville Missouri, in 1986. A few of his past achievements include:

  • ARN Airport Concession of the Year Award (for small airports) for 2003 and 2004;
  • Ryan's efforts at San Antonio earned the airport the ranking of Highest in Passenger Satisfaction in the Small Airport Segment by JD Power & Associates in 2004, and;
  • He earned the Best Specialty Retail Program award in 2004 from Airports Council International, for the medium-sized airport category
